The roles of different entities
In order for the concepts of New Atlantis to be promoted widely, a system has
been established in order that a variety of independent organizations can be assisted to
grow and assisted in providing services to its members.
These organizations, some non profit, some businesses,
some clubs and some other arrangements can all work together to help each other
as members of a family of organizations, based upon a honour code well above
anything found elsewhere.
For this to function, different organizations have
slightly different roles and co-coordinating responsibilities.
The roles of different entities
- New Atlantis (non profit company, with objective of
improving peoples lives) working with others identifies a need and
stimulates the formation of a club or project to solve the need. Some clubs
and projects it still runs, but this is for historic reasons, over time more
are becoming independent, with most becoming New Atlantis Trust Partnerships
and some being packaged as consortium opportunities. New Atlantis the non
profit organization is now principally involved with the philosophy and virtual
kingdom.
- NAISC, that's us, our role is in managing the real world
activities of the New Atlantis family of organizations, this is achieved
through registering, monitoring, commissioning and franchising.
- Worldwide Library, another non profit company, its role
is to build a free to use library of e-books, it also has the lead role in
the New Atlantis Trust partnership, Value Plus, that is to grow, and provide
information at three levels, to individual clubs, the family of clubs and
the public.
- New Atlantis Trusts and New Atlantis Trust
Partnerships, these are registered now through us rather than New Atlantis,
these are the members of the family of organizations, including many of the
entities listed below.
- Franchises are a special form of service provider or
lead service provider connected
with opening up more areas and countries faster. Some have specific roles
within the new economic model.
- Clubs and projects are mostly independent companies or organizations
that promote the solutions, have members and defined services. Over time
most are being packaged as consortiums, so have wider ownership and resources.
- Lead service providers and service providers (many) are commissioned by us,
and some we have commissioned or franchised this role to service providers to
undertake specific tasks, it could be local administration, part of a local
service, PR, web development or any other service, and could be provided for
a number of countries, a country or a region of a country.

We do not offer any services to any individual or organization that is not connected
with the New Atlantis philosophy. In most cases NAISC now deals only with New
Atlantis Trusts or New Atlantis Trust Partnerships. |
