NA Trusts & Trust PartnershipsNew Atlantis Trust status is granted to a company, organization or partnership that has both reached a standard and undertaken to deal with other members under an honour code well above anything found outside of New Atlantis. Most clubs, and lead service providers have trust status as do organizations that make up the core group of New Atlantis. Up until recently the register of who had trust status was maintained by New Atlantis, as they have other types of trusts within the virtual kingdom such as family trusts. NAISC has taken over now a part of this, we are responsible as registrars for all New Atlantis Trusts dealing in real world activities. Real world activities includes clubs, organizations and consortiums, service provision and other connected aspects such as bartering. New Atlantis retains registration of the trusts connected with the virtual kingdom, such as family trusts and honour grade trusts. We work with New Atlantis in jointly agreeing the standards to apply to all trusts. New Atlantis Trust Partnerships are arrangements as the name suggest where activities are being run by a partnership comprising New Atlantis trusts. Some of these provide services or are clubs just for trusts, while others provide services that are controlled by NAISC, and delegated to a partnership of trusts to implement. Working under an honour code we don't need protection from our own family members, so often these entities are not incorporated unless they have a need to deal with people outside of the New Atlantis family. Most of these partnerships have a lead member who in effect co-ordinates or chairs this group, and this is usually chosen from those who have the most relevant interest or experience. |
