Bartering
Barter5050 While bartering has very many advantages, it has one disadvantage and that is that there are ranges of expenses where it just cannot be used. You cannot pay staff salaries, taxes, and are unlikely to be able to pay for energy costs or business rents. Also not all of your suppliers will have discovered the benefits of bartering, so for now and for very many years to come, all businesses are going to take standard currency as well as barter currency. Our solution to this is Barter5050, a unique bartering system where the normal situation is to pay 50% in barter units and 50% in cash or currency. This provides most of the advantages of bartering while having the practicality of a system where you don't on each transaction need to negotiate the split between currency and barter units. Of course you can if you wish still negotiate your own split or accept all barter units if you wish. Barter5050 is the initial barter brand that will be used across all of the New Atlantis family. Any other later brands will be interchangeable with this. Many of the clubs including Business Club International will work in Barter5050 and most will accept barter units for any payments including on the PCI Joint Venture Consortium Exchange. They will of course also accept cash or currency. Many of the provisions in JVC's will be budgeted and commissioned in Barter5050 units, and a part of all joining fees after cost have been taken out will usually be converted to Barter5050 units so as to make it easy for consortiums to use service providers and other members of the family.
