The advantages we offerIf each club and organization were to have to recruit, monitor and administer staff or service contracts, across many time zones, in different currencies and different cultures, it would be expensive, time consuming, require a large amount of duplication of staff and effort and lack expandability. Many would just not have the resources to take this on.By taking the commissioning and commissioned approach we all have expandability and can ourselves concentrate on the selection, definition, monitoring and administration of these roles, although we do extend the theory one more step and commission most of this to be done for us as well. This has allowed the concepts of New Atlantis, of working out ways to improve peoples lives and implementing them, to be spread far faster than they could be by other ways. We also have a level of flexibility, expandability and a greater degree of proof against corruption outside our organizations, having severe effects on us all. The new economic model has taken this to the next level, with integrating in barter units, and allowing a wider range of service provision utilizing the bartering system so that many clubs can further share resources and services. The move from clubs being run by volunteers to being packaged and offered to consortiums, not only will allow all members to benefit by speedier implementation, but also for a very large number of people to be able to gain real benefits from their involvement. The internationalisation of the New Atlantis Business Club to the re -launched Business Club International, and increased involvement in matchmaking for businesses as well as mentoring. This concept also allows us through franchises to utilize others, and by this means offer the chance for them to provide services to members for a fee, providing employment. As in most cases we would look to utilize all or most of the resources of those we commission, they also benefit by not needing to have a sales force.
